Fifty three kitchens, always hiring.

Most of the people who work at Sushi Sake ate here first. If you know the food and you want the shift, the roles below are open across South Florida and Atlanta, and the application goes straight to the restaurant you pick.

What the job asks

  • Availability across nights, weekends and holidays. We are a late kitchen and the busiest hours are the ones other people have off.
  • Food safety basics, or the willingness to be trained and certified on them.
  • The stamina for a full service on your feet, and the calm to hold several tickets at once.
  • Enough English or Spanish to run a section with the rest of the team. Both are spoken in every kitchen.
  • Legal authorisation to work in the United States.

What we still need from you

This section is a set of questions, not finished copy. Your answers become the page.

  • Shift meals

Does the team eat on shift, and is that free or discounted? It is the first thing a cook asks and the easiest thing to say yes to.

  • Moving up

Who started as a busser or a dishwasher and now runs a bar, a kitchen or a floor? Two or three real names and we can tell that story properly. It is the strongest thing this page could say.

  • Hours

What does a normal week actually look like, full time and part time? Being straight about it here saves everyone a wasted interview.

  • Training

Do you pay for food safety certification? Is there a route for someone on the hot line who wants to learn the sushi bar?
